U Aung Moe

Managing Director

U Aung Mo has spent three decades working with glass. He formed Forward Architectural Glass & Aluminum Group in 1989. In 1998, he founded Shaetho Engineering & Construction. He started FGI in 2011 and the three companies support each other in a highly successful alliance. He is responsible for development and long-term strategy.

Hnin Yu Mon

Director

Combining grace with an analytical mind, Ma Hnin is responsible for maintaining stock levels and ensuring customer satisfaction. With a B.Econ(Stats), she has spent over 14 years in the glass industry and is involved in the running of other group companies such as Alu-Guardian.

Nyi Nyi Htwe

Factory Operations Manager

Ko Nyi has spent over eight years with FGI and plays an essential role in the company. He is charge of the day-to-day running of the factory and is responsible for making sure that orders are fulfilled in a timely manner and to the very highest quality.

Ei Thet Khine

QC Manager

Due to our commitment to quality and world-class standards, Ma Ei is another of our key staff. Having spent over eight years working in quality control at other companies, she joined FGI in 2016 and now leads a team of five QC professionals.

TEMPERED GLASS

Our tempered glass processing line cost over US$300,000 and can produce a maximum of 45,000 square meters of glass per day at thicknesses of 5-12 mm. Convection heating guarantees uniformity in production and multiple heating zones allow for ultimate precision. An advanced scanning system highlights any defects immediately. Moreover, the system is energy efficient in line with our commitment to environment friendliness.

LAMINATED GLASS

Representing an investment of over US$150,000, our laminated glass production line is another example of our cutting edge equipment. Every process – from loading to washing to lamination – is fully automated and computer controlled to ensure precision and exceptional quality. Handling glass up to 4,500 mm x 2,750 mm at maximum thicknesses of 24 mm, the line can produce over 1,720 sq ft of glass per day. Once again, the machinery is energy efficient with minimum possible negative environmental effect.

INSULATED GLASS UNITS

Finally, our IGU production system is second to none. Handling sheets up to 1,500 mm x 1,800 mm at maximum thicknesses of 12 mm, the computer controlled conveyor line again handles everything from washing to gas injection to spacer bar insertion. This advanced production line guarantees ultimate accuracy and can produce an almost infinite selection of sizes and designs.
